Number 10 & Rolls Progressive Strategy

Having achieved great success with both of our previous strategies that partly relied on Number 2 segment, this time we decided to utilise the segment with the second-highest RTP in the game.

Our idea was to bet on Number 10 and cover both bonus wagers at the same time, while increasing our bonus stakes as the gameplay progressed.

This particular strategy did not prove to be a success, but you should definitely read on to learn more about what was a highly irregular and unexpected sequence of spins. 

Number 10 and Rolls Were Our Favourites

After two successful campaigns where Number 2 was one of the stars, we selected Number 10 as our number of choice, mostly due to its 96.02% return to player and 10 to 1 payout.

On the other hand, we covered both bonus segments, and wanted to test a certain progression betting system, increasing our wager on 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls after every three spins. 

We started with a €0.50 wager on Number 10, €0.40 bet on 2 Rolls and €0.10 wager on 4 Rolls. Since no special features had been triggered in some 20 spins before we started playing, we were really hoping to strike it rich.

An Unbelievably Dry Spell Followed

With our bets covering mere 8 segments on the Monopoly Live wheel, we definitely did not expect to see frequent winning spins.

However, we did believe we would get several wins on Number 10 and at least a couple of bonus features before too long.

What ensued can only be described as one of the worst spells you can encounter when playing the popular Evolution Gaming title.

This was a highly disappointing campaign for us as we lost a total of €129.50 before we were forced to call it a day and hope for better luck next time.

The spell lasted 54 spins. Not only were there no Chance, 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls features triggered during that period, but Number 10 only landed once, making this a resounding failure.

We kept increasing our bets after every three spins as agreed, and only decided to skip the 4 Rolls altogether when we desperately needed a bonus round to hit and keep us in the game. 

Not even the dealer change helped, the dry spell continued until there was no more money left in our account, and we were left wondering how in the world there were no features activated over 54 spins.

Summary

You don’t need us telling you that this particular strategy failed miserably, but it has to be noted that this was a very strange sequence of spins. 

With no special features in over 50 spins, it was always going to be very difficult not to lose money. Even so, we have learned that betting on Number 10, 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls at the same time is not a good idea.

Monopoly Live Losing Spin

If you are going to be waiting for a potentially big bonus round payout, then you are better off betting on Number 2 or Number 1 segments. These hit more frequently and will not eat up your bankroll as quickly as some other segments on the wheel. 

Therefore, our advice is to give Martingale and Number 2 & 2 Rolls a try, as these two proved highly successful when we tested them for real money.
