Number 2 & 2 Rolls Strategy

We have to admit that Number 2 is our favourite segment on the Monopoly Live Wheel and we honestly believe you need to place bets on this segment if you hope to beat the house in the long run.

This time we decided to test the strategy designed to save you some money by skipping the 4 Rolls wagers altogether. We only placed bets on Number 2 and 2 Rolls, and that eventually proved a very good plan.

We Placed Faith in Number 2 and 2 Rolls Segments

The reasoning behind this was simple. As the segment with the 96.23% return to player, the highest in Monopoly Live, and paying out 2 to 1, we opted to place a €0.50 wager on Number 2. 

On the other hand, we thought that skipping the 4 Rolls segment would save us some money in the process and ensure our bankroll lasted longer as we chased a hefty payout.

Our 2 Rolls wagers were worth €0.30, taking the total bet per spin to €0.80. This meant that each spin landing on Number 2 would bring us €1.50, basically resulting in one “free” spin of the wheel.

We also spotted that 4 Rolls Bonus hit once some 15 spins before we started our campaign and that 2 Rolls Bonus was nowhere to be seen in the past results table. 

That fortified our faith in the strategy we formulated, but little did we know that selecting just two of six betting options would prove so successful.

Rough Start Followed by Incredibly Strong Finish

The start was far from impressive and we even missed placing a bet on the second spin as the Autoplay option surprisingly proved elusive. 

Monopoly Live wheel landed on Number 2 just two times in first 7 spins, but the 8th spin of the wheel on our watch resulted in 2 Rolls Bonus.

The bonus itself was not very rewarding, as Mr Monopoly first stopped on Chance, revealing a 3x multiplier, before applying a 4x multiplier to our stake on his second stroll on the board.

The total bonus win was mere €2.40, but we continued playing hoping for better luck in the future, and the wait eventually proved worthwhile.

Back to back Number 2 results followed the bonus round, bringing our bankroll closer to the starting position, but there was little to brag about in the next 20 spins.

Back to Back Chance Multipliers

The real game changer was just around the corner and it all started with the wheel landing on Chance. Mr Monopoly subsequently revealed an 8x multiplier, getting our hopes up ahead of the re-spin.

When the re-spin again landed on Chance and showed another 8x multiplier, we started to get really excited as 64x multiplier was active for the second re-spin. 

Even though the wheel narrowly missed a third straight Chance segment, it eventually landed on Number 2, awarding sweet €64.50 much to our delight.

Summary

Even though we had been initially planning to play around 50 spins, we opted to stop after 34 as the massive 128x payout on Number 2 made all the difference. 

We ended up doubling our starting bankroll and getting a whopping 310.22% return on investment and 210.22% profit margin. 

Admittedly, the nz.monopolylive.co.uk team was fortunate to get back to back 8x Chance multipliers followed by a Number 2. However, it was the sensible betting strategy that put us in that position in the first place and allowed us to wait for a lucky break.
